Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile aqueous solution containing 0.9% w/v benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a multi-dose vial. It is used as a laboratory diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research compounds. Each vial contains 10ml.

Handling and storage
Store at 15–25°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Wipe the stopper before each withdrawal and use aseptic technique. Handle in accordance with good laboratory practice: safety glasses to EN 166, nitrile gloves to EN 374, and a laboratory coat. Benzyl alcohol can cause allergic skin reactions in sensitised individuals; avoid unnecessary contact. Dispose of material and contaminated packaging in accordance with local regulations and do not dispose into drains.
What is supplied
One 10ml multi-dose vial, sealed with a tamper-evident closure. Orders are dispatched from London in protective packaging, with tracked delivery options available at checkout.
